first off, happy holidays! hopefully you're getting some good time with family and rejuvenating.

and too funny about the bad breathe! don't worry, i'm not too far off either. ;P

i've started to try and think of the "we concept" as in my body. i'm right handed, but do I fault my left hand for not contributing as much? this is just the way my body works. trust me, it's a tough concept for me but something I need, since i'm very much value fairness and equal splitting of effort.

another concept that is factoring for me these days is "temporal." what I mean, I see my mom being the sole caregiver for my dad, and it's rough. when I was growing up, they argued a lot and thought for sure they'd be separating. but look at them now, and how could they live without each other. so, hopefully my relationship will never get near that bad, but maybe the effort into the relationship is temporal, meaning when we have a kid one day, she'll do more than me. who knows.
